Who we are?

GL BIOCONTROL society is a consulting firm established in October 2006 by three associate engineers specialized and experienced in microbiology of water and technical hydraulics.
We are experts in engineering health and water biological monitoring strategy. GL BIOCONTROL has two departments for services and Research & Development.

Through its two areas of expertise, GL BIOCONTROL:
  • Develop tools for risk management in the microbial critical facilities in relation with public health.
  • Uses methodologies and modern tools of biology to study the microbial world.
  • Study the microbial ecosystem of the environment in order to anticipate and prevent public health risks.
  • Advises the actors of "water system" to drive their facilities and to reduce the public health risks and the ecological footprint (water, treatment products and energy conservation).
GL BIOCONTROL is also distributor of Total biomass measuring equipment (by ATP-metry) in the waters of all types of circuit (ultrapure waters, hot sanitary waters, industrial waters): the luminometer and the reagent kit DENDRIDIAG®.

DENDRIDIAG®
FAST, RELIABLE AND ULTRA-SENSITIVE MICROORGANISMS KITS QUANTIFICATION

  DENDRIDIAG® are the products developed by the company COLCOM, biomass quantification tools used for detection and quantification of the total flora in waters and surfaces by bioluminescence (ATP-metry).

Based on a technology well known and widely used in agri-products COLCOM have developed a new field method, sensitive and ultra-fast.

Thereby DENDRIDIAG® products are ideal for real-time monitoring of industrial networks (IW), hot sanitary water (SW) and ultra-pure water (UPW).


VALIDATED PERFORMANCES
  • Sensitivity of the measurement (detection to less than 1 bact./ml),
  • Volume of representative sample (from 10 to 1000 ml),
  • Quantitative method (units: pgATP/ml or bact./ml),
  • Method accuracy, fidelity and robustness, with a known uncertainty mastered (+/- 0.15 log),
  • Calibration and verification of the enzymatic activity with internal control monitoring in each sample,
  • Speed of response (test performed within 2 min),
  • Broadband access in the field.
